RTV MINERAL PROCUREMENT · SOUTHEAST ASIA → CHINA

Zinc Concentrate Procurement

Buying Zinc concentrate from Southeast Asia with Zn >30% for supply to China.

Zinc concentrate is assessed by its Zn content. Both oxide and sulphide types may be submitted. Describe the processing, moisture and available impurity assays so delivery can be discussed for the actual lot.

OxideSulphideLot-by-lot assessment

Send existing assays and site photos, even if some records are still missing. Quantity, price, inspection and settlement milestones are discussed for each lot.

These are RTV's commercial screening thresholds. Acceptance also depends on material classification, harmful elements, source and suitability for import into China. Meeting a grade threshold does not constitute import clearance or a purchase agreement.

WHAT WE BUY

What to confirm for Zinc concentrate

Granular and powdery zinc concentrate shown as an appearance reference
Zinc concentrate: appearance reference

Report Zn separately from other elements

Provide Zn and available Pb, Fe, S or other results. A combined metal content cannot substitute for the Zn content of an individual zinc concentrate.

State oxide or sulphide type

Describe mineral type, concentration method and any further treatment. Even materials with the same name require checks of source, composition and form.

Specify moisture, packing and quantity

Distinguish wet tonnes, dry tonnes and estimates. Keep the assay basis as reported. State bulk or bagged packing and distinguish current stock from planned output.

Check impurities and the receiving route

Provide available As, Cd, Hg, Tl and other impurity results. Further procurement arrangements depend on classification, documents and the proposed delivery point.

Photos illustrate concentrate appearance only. They do not establish grade, stock availability, origin or the quality of a particular lot.

SEPARATE Pb AND Zn RESULTS · COMBINED ASSESSMENT

Mixed lead-zinc material Pb+Zn >40%

Mixed material is assessed by combined Pb and Zn content. Report Pb and Zn separately, rather than only a total. Include oxide or sulphide type, processing, moisture and cargo location.

REGIONAL COVERAGE & DELIVERY

Southeast Asian supply, receiving in China

These are delivery nodes open for discussion. Agree the specific terminal, border point, transport mode and responsibilities for each lot.

Delivery optionsShipment port / Land borderAgree port FOB and land delivery separately
Receiving in ChinaQinzhou · Fangcheng · NanshaOther locations: arrival transactions preferred

FOB at shipment port

Laem Chabang · Hai Phong · Agreed Ho Chi Minh City terminal

Port FOB can be discussed with the named port, loading point, export procedures and shipment arrangements specified. The terminal, transport arrangements and responsibilities must be agreed.

Land-border delivery

Boten, Laos · Agreed Vietnam border point

Confirm the precise delivery point, current cargo location, inland transport and customs responsibilities. Land delivery is agreed separately and is not described as maritime FOB.

Transaction upon arrival in China

Qinzhou · Fangcheng · Nansha

For other cargo locations, transactions upon arrival in China are preferred for discussion. The contract must specify inspection, settlement and title-transfer milestones; arrival alone does not determine them.

Thailand
Shipment-port transactions at Laem Chabang can be discussed.
Vietnam
Discuss Hai Phong, an agreed Ho Chi Minh City terminal or an agreed land-border point.
Laos
Discuss an agreed delivery point at Boten.
Other Southeast Asian sources
Assess cargo location and documents, preferably discussing a transaction upon arrival in China.

These locations describe possible delivery routes, not RTV-owned warehouses or permanent offices at every point. Import suitability, export arrangements and documents remain subject to lot-specific checks.

FROM RECORDS TO DELIVERY

Check composition, cargo title and delivery terms

Composition and lot review

Check Pb, Zn, associated elements, moisture and report date, and whether assays, photos and available quantity relate to the same lot.

Source and cargo-title checks

Establish the supplier's role and authority to arrange inspection, sampling, contract signing and delivery.

Sampling and assay coordination

Agree the sampling scope, sample sealing, third-party assays and re-assay arrangements for each lot, using mutually accepted testing evidence.

Coordination for delivery to China

Connect supply with Chinese market demand and confirm the named location, transport and document responsibilities, inspection basis and settlement milestones for each lot.

  1. Submit available cargo information

Send material, location, composition, quantity and contact details. Upload existing reports and photos if available.

  2. Review lot and acceptance conditions

Check supplier role, assay records, material classification and proposed route; identify missing information.

  3. Agree verification and trade milestones

Confirm inspection, sampling, testing, delivery point, cost responsibilities, contract and settlement basis.

  4. Execute the agreed delivery

Proceed with the confirmed lot and conditions, keeping corresponding cargo, assay and handover records.

SUPPLIER FAQ

Clarify these points before quoting

Does Zn of exactly 30% meet the published threshold?

The published screening threshold is Zn >30%. Provide the actual result and assay basis without rounding a borderline value upwards.

How should zinc material with substantial lead be submitted?

Report Pb and Zn separately and identify the material type. Mixed lead-zinc material can be submitted through the mixed-material entry, with a screening threshold of Pb+Zn >40%.

Can both oxide and sulphide materials be offered?

Both may be submitted for assessment. State the actual mineral type, processing, composition and impurities. The mineral name alone does not determine acceptance.

Does meeting the grade threshold guarantee import or purchase?

No. Acceptance depends on material classification, harmful elements, source, documents and import suitability. Price and trade conditions must be agreed by both parties.

Can I contact RTV before a full assay report is available?

Yes. Send the composition information, quantity, location and photos you have, and state what is missing. Required verification is then completed for the actual lot before procurement.

What are the minimum quantity and payment terms?

State the lot quantity and supply plan first. Quantity, price, inspection, payment and title-transfer milestones are negotiated for the actual lot and contract. No uniform terms are promised on this page.
