We Buy Tin Ore & Tin Concentrate

RTV buys tin ore and tin concentrate. Mine owners, beneficiation plants, cargo owners and traders are welcome to offer material.

Start with the cargo location, available quantity and material details. We review each lot by its actual composition, condition, source and proposed delivery terms before discussing sampling, assays, pricing, payment and handover.

Send any assays and site photos already available. You can contact us before all supporting documents are ready.

Materials we buy

What tin material do you have?

Business photo: a close-up of mixed dark and light granular material in a bucket
Close-up photos help explain particle size, condition and processing.

Tin ore

Describe the source and whether the material is run-of-mine or has been processed. State its physical form, such as lumps, granules or fines, and any hand sorting, crushing, screening or other treatment.

Tin concentrate

Describe the beneficiation method, available assay results, moisture, packaging and quantity. Make clear whether the reported tin content is Sn. If a report states SnO₂, retain that original notation so it can be checked.

For other tin-bearing materials, provide the generating process, main constituents and photos so an appropriate assessment can be discussed separately.

We will discuss the next checks.

You do not need every document to start. Cargo location, quantity and your role help us understand the offer.

Assay reports

Testing date, laboratory, sample number and the lot covered.

Site photos

Overall stockpile, material close-ups, packaging and lot markings.

Delivery proposal

Proposed handover point, availability and each party's expected transport responsibilities.

Separate existing stock, expected production and ongoing supply capacity. Identify photos or reports from earlier lots. Start with the information available and provide further details as the discussion progresses.

Lot assessment

How we review a tin material lot

Composition and condition

Actual Sn content, associated tungsten or other payable constituents, impurities, moisture and physical form help determine what further information is needed for assessment and price discussions.

Records that match the cargo

Check whether assays, photos, packaging marks and quantity records refer to the same lot. Interpret sample results together with the sampling method and coverage.

Authority to arrange the transaction

Identify the cargo owner, the contact's role and who can authorise viewing, sampling, signing and delivery. Intermediaries should explain their relationship with the owner and what they can coordinate.

Practical delivery conditions

Review the actual cargo location, loading conditions and available documents. Identify missing information and responsibilities before discussing an executable delivery arrangement.

Final pricing and transaction terms depend on the lot information confirmed and the agreement between the parties.

Working with RTV

From material offer to agreed terms

  1. Share available details

Provide contact details, material type, location and quantity. Include any assays, photos and supply plans already available.

  2. Discuss the lot

RTV reviews the material details, supplier role and proposed delivery method, then identifies any information needed next.

  3. Verify cargo and discuss sampling

Discuss site access, sampling coverage, testing provider and related costs for the lot. Confirm the material covered and authority to carry out the work.

  4. Agree price and delivery

Use the verification and test information to agree the pricing basis, weight and moisture determination, payment stages, handover point and cost allocation.

Supplier FAQs

Before you send an offer

Can I contact RTV without a complete assay report?

Yes. Start with the cargo location, quantity, material condition and any photos available. We can then discuss whether additional assays or sampling are needed.

Is there a fixed minimum grade or purchase quantity?

Feasibility depends on composition, material form, quantity and delivery conditions. Submit the actual details so requirements can be discussed for the particular lot.

Can an intermediary or trader offer material?

Yes. Explain your relationship with the owner and what you can arrange. Authority must be clarified for site access, sampling, contracting and delivery.

Is an assay report sufficient for a quotation?

A report can support initial discussions, but its lot coverage, date and sampling method also need review. The final pricing and settlement basis is agreed against the actual cargo.

Can cargo near the Myanmar–Thailand border be submitted?

You may share the actual location, quantity, ownership information and available documents. Progress depends on site verification, relevant documentation and practical delivery conditions.

How are payment, transport and testing costs arranged?

These are discussed for each lot. The parties need to agree testing, weight determination, loading, handover and payment stages, together with responsibility for the relevant costs.

Supporting information

Specifications and standard references

These references help explain scope and compare lots. They are not universal RTV purchasing thresholds. Feasibility is assessed against the actual material.

Numerical specification reference

GB/T 20424—2025 · Composition values: mass %

Content conditions in the standard definition (extract)
Sn ≥ 20

ParameterReference value
Pb≤ 0.50
As≤ 2.00
Hg≤ 0.05

For comparing lots and discussing specifications and pricing, not a universal RTV supply threshold.

Content conditions are not the complete definition or RTV purchasing minimums. Check source, beneficiation and physical form for applicability. Do not directly apply this table to ore, slag, dust or recycled material.

What is its condition?

Start with what you know. Explaining where the cargo is, how much is available and its condition helps us identify the next checks.
