01
What the inquiry form collects
When you submit an inquiry we receive the contact channel you provide (email, WhatsApp or WeChat) and any optional details you add: name or company, material of interest, destination, quantity, grade and free-text notes. Only a contact channel is required.
02
What is recorded automatically
With each submission our server also records your IP address, browser user-agent, the page you submitted from and the time. Our web server keeps standard access logs containing IP address, requested URL, referrer and user-agent.
03
Why we use it
Solely to review your inquiry, assess the lot, reply to you and keep a record of the discussion. We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties for marketing.
04
Where it is stored
Inquiries are written to a file on our own server and emailed to our sales mailbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). Access logs stay on the same server. We keep inquiry records for as long as the commercial relationship or a possible follow-up requires, and delete them on request.
05
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited and from where. IP anonymisation is enabled, so Google does not store your full IP address. Google Analytics sets its own cookies; you can block them in your browser or with a tracker blocker without affecting the rest of the site.
06
Market data
The LME reference quotes on the news page are fetched by our own server, not by your browser. Your IP address and browsing are therefore never sent to the quote provider.
07
Third parties we rely on
Google (Analytics, and Gmail for our sales mailbox) and our hosting provider. Beyond the analytics described above we embed no advertising networks, social widgets or other trackers.
08
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it or delete it, and you may withdraw consent for future contact at any time. Write to us using the contact details below and we will act on the request.
09
